The final of the 9th China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Suzhou Centennial College selection, was held in the academic lecture hall of G building in the afternoon of April 26th. The competition was sponsored by the Student Service Office (Youth League Committee) and the School of Continuing Education, organized by the School of Business, co-organized by the School of Engineering, and attended by Vice President Kay Li, Zhang, Associate Vice President Xiang, Yuan, Dean of School of Business, Lynn Lin, Zhang, Dean of School of Arts and Design, Yujie, Hou, Dean of School of Marxism, Wei, Lu, Professor Deyu, Zhang from the School of Engineering, and colleagues from the Student Service Office.

As an important carrier and key platform for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in China, the China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has become the largest double innovation event covering all universities in China and targeting all college students, and this year's competition embarks towards Chinese, international, educational, comprehensive, and innovative, marking its ninth year.

The competition aims to explore new ways of talent development through competitions, building a force of innovative and entrepreneurial talents through competitions, and build a new platform for industry-university integration through competitions. Our college is located in the first "internationalization demonstration zone of higher education" in China, known as the "Silicon Valley in the west and the Wise Lake in the east". The "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the school's educational concept of "internationalization, specialization, and quality", as well as the spirit of the school motto "Sincerity, Exploration, Prudence, and Perseverance", are highly consistent and provide strong support for our college to cultivate high-quality applied talents with social responsibility, professional competence, practical ability, innovative spirit, and international vision. This year, our college actively responded by hosting the double innovation school competition with the aim of "achieving dreams through 'Internet+', and opening up the future through innovation and entrepreneurship", fully preparing for the provincial selection and recommending outstanding teams to the national finals.

At the beginning of the event, Vice President Kay Li, Zhang delivered the opening speech for the final. She first extended a warm welcome to all the judges, participating professors and students, and the audience present today, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the staff of the School of Business, the preparatory staff of the competition, and the internal and external experts and professors who devoted themselves to planning and guiding the project team. She also pointed out that the double innovation school competition is a good opportunity to promote scientific exploration and encourage innovation among students, and hopes that through this practical platform, we can actively integrate high-quality experiences, actively cross-college team communication under the guidance of professional review, and further polish projects to strive for excellent performance.

In the project reporting session, nine teams from the School of Engineering, the School of Business, the School of Arts and Design, and the School of Liberal Arts respectively presented and communicated their projects. The team speakers shared their projects' backgrounds, product service introductions, market analysis and positioning, business models, marketing strategies, financial analysis, risk control, team organization and other aspects. The judging panel comprehensively evaluated and commented on the innovations, commerciality, team situations and employment prospects of each project, and conducted professional discussions and guidance on the application scenarios, business logic, intellectual property rights, and other aspects of each project to help teams further improve and optimize their work.

The end of this school competition was concluded by Dean Lynn Lin, Zhang, from the School of Business. She summarized that the successful holding of this double innovation school competition is a successful demonstration of the achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education, demonstrating the school's emphasis on developing science and technology innovation and competition projects, while also providing directions for improving and perfecting the participating projects. The secondary colleges will continue to inspire students' enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship, enhance their ability in this area, further strengthen competition guidance, and encourage more SCC students to join the trend of innovation and entrepreneurship.
